We started our day with the raising of the flag in front of the dining hall at the Williamson School, followed by breakfast in the cafeteria. Our first concert of the day was at the Elwyn Center; we sang for a very enthusiastic group of mentally handicapped residents who were part of the center's day program. Our students were so wonderful with the residents and enjoyed interacting with them. Elwyn fixed bag lunches for us and, after eating, we spent the afternoon at the Franklin Institute in downtown Philadelphia. We returned to Williamson for dinner and then presented our final program at another section of the Elwyn Center—this time for the overnight residents. It was a very enthusiastic crowd who enjoyed singing along and dancing all the way through the program. We concluded our day with a sharing time in the beautiful Chapel back at Williamson.
Larry King, our driver, kept us on time and safe all week
